Sub-layouts in the Layout section
Since the release of Astroid widgets, you have been able to build up various layouts and edit the content directly in the layout builder. But in case you have a bunch of layouts should be created, you may encounter annoying stuff like modifying the same section on all template layouts (ex: the footer section).
Sub-layout was intentionally developed to help Astroid users to create sample layouts for each section so that they could apply them to different style layouts without having to create the same section repeatedly. For example, you can create a sub-layout and apply it to all the template styles, so all the website will share the same footer style, but you just need to do it one time.

Article content layout builder
One of the most interesting new features in this release is the article content layout builder, which allows users to manage and have full control over the detailed layout of Joomla articles. You can organize the position of elements such as Article content, full image, title, article whole text, link and others in the order you want.

Add feature Save as Default for Article Layout
This is an option that allows you to save the newly-created article layout as default, so if you enable this option, the new layout will be the global style for detailed articles on the whole site.
